Came here with my family, I love authentic Italian food and this spot was perfect. A lot of options to choose from and all of them sound so good on the menu. Their pasta is so good. Will definitely try something else next time. Their desserts were amazing as well. Definitely recommend this place!

This is hands down the best experience in the Chicago area. It’s not just about the food or the ambiance—it’s the whole package. Chef Jose delivers an exceptional culinary experience, while Paco’s kindness and professionalism at the table make you feel like you’ve found your Italian home in Chicago. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

This restaurant has become one of my top favorites of all time. We recently moved into the area and found this little gem. The service is amazing, the wine list extensive and reasonably priced, and the food is exceptional. I have yet to get the same dish twice because I just want to try everything on the menu. (Although I do have a favorite wine that is now my go to!). The seafood is always fresh and the options are great for all palates. In a neighborhood with more Italian restaurants than coffee shops, it’s hard to stand out. Piacere Mio is the stellar option. It’s great for a low key evening, date night, friends, groups, the gambit. I will do whatever I can to help this business thrive in a very competitive market. It’s just that good!! (They also have half price bottles of wine on Mondays— just saying!! )

Delicious Italian food and amazing service! We ate here last night, and sat in the back of the restaurant, which was a lot more quiet and cooler than the front. The restaurant was pretty packed overall, and for good reason. The host was very nice. Our server was very attentive and accommodating, and asked the chef if they could make my dish gluten free because I have celiac disease, and they did. My partner and I loved our dinners. The dessert was to die for! I highly recommend the banana flan with caramel sauce. Overall, it was a great experience.

Every experience I've had here has been fantastic. I have visited thrice for dinner and once for lunchtime paninis. The service and food are fantastic. My favorite dishes I've had so far have been stuffed zucchini blossoms and flavorful and delicate pesto pasta. They also offer specials depending on the day of the week (usually the best specials are early in the week when it's typically slow for restaurants such as Monday, Tuesday). My friend and I asked for espresso martinis made decaf and I watched our server walk to the espresso maker and pull fresh shots. Check their website or social media for the latest details. There is street parking outside the restaurant.

Easily one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to visit. The service person was full of good information about the place and we arrived for lunch but were offered the dinner menu as well. The medallions of beef filet were served perfectly cooked on a bed of homemade mashed potatoes sitting on a rich, dark, delicious sauce. The asparagus with asparagus was okay. I mean, what can you do to asparagus? The tuna that was seared was absolutely fabulous. And both of the pastas were homemade and the sauces were luscious and the service again was great. They give you four starters, a little bucket of focaccia and some homemade chickpea hummus. It's not really hummus, but that's what they called it so we would know what it was. It was very good. It was an amusement, I guess you would call it. The beet salad was unusual because the beets were sliced so thin and very sweet because they were oven roasted and the goat cheese ball was coated with panko crumbs and deep fried for less than thirty seconds. I had mentioned that it was going to be our birthday celebrations for myself and my daughter-in-law and as the meal ended we were waiting for the dessert menu but instead the The server who I think really was a co-owner, brought us some delicious desserts with a little candle on each one. One of them was a creme brulee which looked nothing like your normal creme brulee and I would suggest that if you go there, you try this and a banana type flan which I can't describe other than it was light as a feather and slightly banana flavor. The plate was also covered with a bridge type saws that you may have been butterscotch and blueberries.

We were absolutely happy with our crab cake and beet appetizers. The pappadelle, desserts and service were amazing. Pasta and bread served were all freshly made. Definitely returning.
